Rodentphobia

Blame it on the long fights I won to get children's story books,I always feared monsters who would put me in a jinxed prison, through the windows of which I would escape with a prince who comes on a snow-white horse.Dont know what would happen after though I used to wonder what could have happened after!! Did they get married? Did they have children? Did they fight as many others I have seen fighting? Or is the prince of this story a son of that prince of who lived happily with a princess who can be the daughter of another prince of yet another story I read days back...??? I always watched out for a monster coming out from nowhere. But it was mice I had to fight with- neither tomandjerry nor ratatouille type. But of a different breed, apparently (what could I possibly know about mice, on an educated guess, may be its gestation period) That was not any better for one with an unbelievably funny history of keeping shut inside cupboard till her dad killed the trapped mouse dipping the rat-trap in water.Wasn't it just to offend my 9th standard classteacher had i said mice look cute?? Each time I fought with mice I longed for dad who would come with a brand new rat-trap from "Gopalan's hardwares and appliances". Grandma would ask me to say three "our father in heaven" that, that which came as a monster went like mouse. eh?? Defenitely not to a rodentphobiac.
